Re-printed publications and single stitch binding

Decided from feedback that I'd re-print the covers with a thicker stock and use grey stock for the cover instead of printing grey on white. I then decided to take away one of the staples from the saddle stitching and use only one to bind it due to the size of the publication.

Re-printing Publication covers

Re-printed the cover on 200gsm stock, accidentally printed pink twice on one side instead of two side and created an interesting effect. However I won't be using it, the blue came out a little gray so had to print that twice as well.

Flyers as a series

To keep the logo consistent I had to change the layout of each flyer.

Using a similar layout structure to the posters and the publications, these layouts visually link to the rest of the promotional material. Bringing everything down to size though was a bit tricky and i had to deviate from the style a little.

Poster Colour test

Testing using a contrasting colour in the bottom version to make particular elements contrast more. Think I'm going to keep it to two colours plus stock.

The submission pdf for the competition entry, had to hurriedly photograph the triangulate publication and mock up the spreads to make the extended deadline. Made it the deadline however I photographed the wrong cover with the wrong publication, I accidentally paired the pixelate publication with the wrong designer. Hopefully the concept will shine through this error and the mistake go unnoticed.

Development of Triangulate cover for the three publications for Brief 2. I had in mind that the triangulate identity had to be prominent but still allow the concept to communicate, especially the illustrate, pixelate, articulate element.

Idea generation

Typo Circle Idea Generation

To start generating ideas I highlighted the different disciplines of the previous speakers and noted key words associated with them and progressed onto the triangulate idea, which was formed by playing with the words Illustrate, pixelate,articulate. Triangulate came to represent the 3 designers being showcased in the publications, I decided quite early on the circulate was to similar and obvious to work strongly as a brand for the supplements.
